I am in love!

With aloe vera and baking soda!

We spent the day cleaning. Emptied everything out of the garage, seperated it into trash, yard sale, and keep. Took 2 vanloads to the dump, and the stuck the rest back in the swept out garage. I am a lobster, and am very happy I have a huge bottle of aloe vera in my bathroom. The poor boys are somewhat burnt too. It felt really good to just chuck stuff in the van! We're authorized 9,000 pounds worth of homegoods that they'll move for us, but that doesn't mean we want to use all of it... I also posted a bunch of stuff on Craigslist: a piano that I'd rather not dismantle if someone would take it and give her some love; the boppy I bought new for Daniel and was a serious lifesaver; a dresser; a Little Tykes car; and our cats.

That's right. We're getting rid of the cats. As much as we've loved having them, we can't take them to my mother-in-law's house. So I'm hoping a nice family takes them soon.

As for the baking soda? Move over magic eraser! With a little baking soda paste, a scrub brush, and elbow grease our walls are as clean as when we moved in! (The hallway at least. There are a lot of walls in this house!)
