William's in Nursery!

Today was our first week with William in Nursery here in our own ward. I'll admit, I was a little nervous, even though he did fantastic in my mother-in-law's ward. Our nursery is bigger, and noisier, and the kids play chaotically for the first hour, and I wasn't sure how William would do. Apperantly he is used to the chaos, due to living with us for 18 months, and did great! He got a little tired the last 20 minutes, and didn't get to color because he tried eating the crayons, but on the whole he played great and didn't fuss at all!

It was really nice to sit with Mark and listen to the lesson. And I got to watch another mom's little boy run around Relief Society, and didn't have to worry about what he was getting into, becuase he wasn't mine! Hee hee! Eventually we'll have another little one, and do the whole child-in-class thing, with the toys and bottles and diapers that explode, but I think I will just enjoy the peace and quiet for now.

Yeah for Nursery. I went to church with Sarah and Jon and realized that with Emma in nursery it is so much different than when I was in the ward with them and they had her with them. It is so nice that you can go and listen to the lesson.

YEAH! I love that time when the kids go to nursery--they are so much happier through church and WE are so much happier through church!

9 more months for me.... :)

It was so exciting for us to finally put Zaylee in the nursery and be child-free for those two hours. It's a very happy thing that he did well, and isn't going to be one of those sad kids that always cry during nursery. What a nice thing!

I was so pleased yesterday that Madison went to the nursery during Sunday School. It's been a few weeks since I've been able to sit and listen to the lesson because she doesn't sit still with us. She won't even stay in the room! It prevents me from getting anything from the lesson at all. Now we just need to teach her sit somewhat quietly for the service...
