A close up of my shelft. The "welcome" is cut out of the wood. And the small word is "family"
Above the door and the closet door. The stencil goes down the wall on the left side.
A close up of the stencil. I bought this years ago and for the life of me I don't remember why!
A close up of the crackle detail I posted about on that last picture tag. I crackled the pegs and the outer trim/edgework.
I am so glad I actually got this done. It feels really good to get a project done. So many things have been started in this house, but not finished due to not being able to focus well and getting distracted very easily. Now, what else can I paint?

Well silly, you bought that stencil because your subconscious KNEW you would need it to paint your entry way in a year... :)
And it looks GREAT!
I love how your entry turned out! More talent - gosh you are amazing!
I absolutely love the new entry design! Our house has a similar feel only there is more black than white with the red. White and black make color stand out really well. Good choice in stencil! I really like it so much!
There are really not very many pictures of me that I would post but like you said...the black and white and sepia hide a lot of imperfections. Spencer actually took that one of me and I was just hanging out on my bed relaxing so it's funny that it turned out decent enough to show it. I take bad pictures usually.
Hope you guys are having a good day. It's harry scary over here today! I mean it! I just got on the blog spot to I could feel good about life again. The kids are NOTTY TODAY!!! OHHHHH! Good to hear from you and love the new blog thing. It's fun!
