Much to my relief, I woke up Wednesday feeling much better. I ate actual food, Got the kids ready and to school on time, did some dishes. William had a doctor's appointment in the afternoon to see what was wrong, and it turns out I was right. An ear infection... poor guy. Oren only had 2, Nathan had 1, and this is William's 3rd. So by now I know some of the symptoms, which makes it nice. And it was really nice that I could get him in that day. I had called in the morning to schedule a "same day appointment" and was told that they were all booked. So I called the nurse to do a telephone consult and see if they wanted me to take him to urgent care, and wonder of wonders, the nurse found me a small slot they could squeeze me in. So that turned out all right, he is already much happier and slept fine last night.
It turns out I won't be seeing Mom and Grandma. Grandma's brother is coming into town so Grandma had to come down this morning, and Nathan had therapy this morning so I wasn't home. Bummer! But I guess it is a good thing, because, like Rachel, my house looks like I run a full daycare center and didn't clean up afterword. But, that is what the Lord gave us Saturday for, and Mark doesn't have to work so I'll have help.
