Another one bites the dust....

Another pound I mean. Mark didn't really think I would follow through with it this time. After all, I have quit the last, well, all the diets I have been on. But I am happy to say that it has been 6 weeks now, and I am still going strong. Today I had another weigh-in, and I have lost 19 pounds! So I need to decide what I want to do to celebrate, because in a couple of days it will be 20. I honestly didn't think I could do it. It felt like way too much weight to lose, but I have been taking it in 5 pound increments. I stopped focusing on how much I still have to lose, and began being excited about what I have lost already. Sorry to be toting my horn, I was just so excited this morning.

That's fantastic! Don't be sorry for tooting your own horn. Losing weight is hard work and you've managed to stick with it longer and make more progress than I certainly ever have! Way to go!

Fantastic!! Losing 20 punds really is an accomplishment in this day and age (what with all those nasty fatty foods and all), and it is inspiring to see you stick with it. Keep up the good work!!
