Those of you who guessed hair grease and baby powder would be right. I smelled the baby powder from the living room, and when I got up to check, clouds of baby powder were wafting from my bathroom. Apperantly, after spiking his hair "to look like Daddy", he thought he would set the look by simultaneously shaking and squeezing the baby powder bottle. The resultant mess took me about a half hour to clean up. And 2 baths to get the grease out of his hair....

What a mess...but it could actually be a really cool Halloween costume. He kind of reminds me of Edward Scissorhands or someone like that.
I suppose it wasn't too funny at the time (that's how I usually feel with Madison's messes) but it's always good when you can laugh about it later :)
Isn't it amazing the things kids will think up to do? And the funny thing is that it makes perfect sense to them at the time, while you're there thinking, "What on earth are you doing?!" Fun stuff...
One of the neat things about being an older mother or a grandmother is the things you get to see that you have gone through yourself in earlier years. Does the heart good and gives me a good laugh. You are all great mothers and will weather all this and more.
You know, despite the constant messes, I am never bored with this little guy around. I do laugh quite frequently, when he can't hear, about his little escapades. That boy is sheer genious!
It's a good thing we love these little people! Keep laughing!
