The other side of the dining room. This cart houses my sewing machine and cookbooks. Not very logical, but that's how it actually fits, so.....
A close up of my cookbook cart, I don't mind displaying cookbooks. This is only half of them however, I collect those little ones from the supermarket magazine stand. Those are in the cupboard because they don't fit on top.
This is my favorite piece. I love the detail on the doors and the pattern on the top, that's hard to see in this picture. I had to soak the hinges in paint stripper because they were several different colors, and find new screws to fit them since the old ones wouldn't strip very well.
After 4 long days of painting, sanding, sealing, and repainting what the kids "helped" with, I am glad to say it is finished!

It looks great! My dining table and chairs doesn't match anything around it...
Wow, all the furniture looks fantastic! Even though we visited you guys just a couple weeks ago, I bet we probably wouldn't recognize your house with all the changes you've been making!
It looks fantastic! I admire your ambition and drive to get the project done.
Beautiful! Isn't it just great to finish a big project and then have a chance to show it off? I don't even have a table in my dining room right now, so your's looks absolutely fab in comparison!
Im looking forward to seeing your newly decorated dining room. We have stripped and redone a few pieces of furniture in our time and it isn't easy. Two of my favorite chairs are some I saw my mother strip and refinish when I was a teenager. Sad to say, I didn't help her with them, but I treasure them now for sure.
